1. Accepted Payment Methods

• Visa credit/debit cards (including Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, Visa Signature)
• Mastercard credit/debit cards (including Mastercard Standard, Mastercard Gold, Mastercard Platinum, Mastercard World)

2. Payment Security

• PCI DSS Compliance: Shopify Payments maintains PCI DSS Level 1 certification (the highest standard for payment security), ensuring your card data is encrypted and protected throughout the transaction process.
• Data Encryption: All payment transactions are secured via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology—indicated by the "https://" prefix and padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
• No Card Data Storage: We never store your full credit/debit card details on our servers. Card information is transmitted directly to Shopify’s secure payment processing system and tokenized for future reference (if you opt to save payment methods).
• Fraud Prevention: We use industry-standard fraud detection tools to verify transactions and protect against unauthorized purchases. This may include address verification (AVS) and card security code (CVV) checks.

3. Payment Authorization & Charging

• Authorization Hold: When you place an order, we will request a temporary authorization hold from your card issuer for the full order amount (including product prices, shipping fees, and applicable sales tax). This hold reserves funds but does not complete the charge.
• Final Charging: The authorization hold will be converted to a permanent charge once your order is processed and dispatched (typically within 1-3 business days, per our Shipping Policy).
• Failed Authorizations: If your payment is declined, we will notify you immediately via email. Common reasons include insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect billing information, or card issuer restrictions. You may update your payment details and reprocess the order within 48 hours—after which the order will be automatically canceled.

4. Fees & Additional Charges

• No Hidden Fees: We do not charge any additional fees for using Visa or Mastercard (e.g., processing fees, surcharges). The total amount displayed at checkout (product price + shipping + sales tax) is the final amount you will be charged.
• Third-Party Fees: Your card issuer may apply foreign transaction fees (if you are purchasing from outside the United States) or cash advance fees (for debit cards). These fees are determined by your card issuer and are not controlled by Noonest—contact your bank for details.

5. Refunds & Disputes

• Refund Processing: Approved refunds (per our Refund Policy) will be credited back to your original Visa/Mastercard payment method. Refunds are processed within 10 business days of return acceptance, and funds typically appear in your account within 3-5 additional business days (depending on your card issuer’s processing time).
• Refund Status: You will receive an email notification once the refund is initiated. You can also track refund status via your Site account or by contacting your card issuer.
• Chargebacks: If you dispute a charge with your card issuer (a "chargeback"), please contact us first at info@noonest.shop to resolve the issue directly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension or restriction from future purchases.
• Partial Refunds: For partial returns or order adjustments, refunds will be issued proportionally to your original payment method.

6. Payment Method Changes & Saved Cards

• Updating Payment Details: If you need to change the payment method for a pending order, contact us at info@noonest.shop within 24 hours of order placement (before processing begins).
• Saving Payment Methods: You may opt to save your Visa/Mastercard details for future purchases (via Shopify’s secure tokenization). Saved payment methods can be managed or deleted at any time in your Site account under "Payment Methods."

7. Order Cancellations & Payment Reversals

• Cancellations Before Processing: If you cancel an order before it is processed (within 24 hours of placement), the authorization hold will be reversed immediately. Funds will be released within 1-3 business days (depending on your card issuer).
• Cancellations After Processing: If you cancel an order after it has been processed but not shipped, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method (per our Refund Policy).

8. Limitations of Liability

• We are not liable for payment delays, failures, or errors caused by:
  • Your card issuer (e.g., declined transactions, processing delays).
  • Technical issues beyond our control (e.g., internet outages, payment gateway downtime).
  • Incorrect payment information provided by you (e.g., wrong card number, billing address mismatch).
• In the event of a payment error (e.g., duplicate charges), contact us at info@noonest.shop within 7 days of the transaction. We will investigate and resolve the issue within 5 business days.
